Crystal grew up in Waterloo Ontario with a busy house full of critters including rabbits, dogs, reptiles, and fish. She knew from a young age that she was destined to work with animals and started young as a dog walker and pet sitter. She graduated with distinction from both the Animal Care program at Sheridan College (2006) and the Veterinary Technology program at the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus (2010). Crystal brings many years of experience in various aspects of the animal industry such as shelter medicine, pet insurance, small animal medicine, and exotics. Crystal shares her home in Guelph with her husband, daughter, hamster named Elsa, and two crazy Pomeranians- Steve and Archie. Crystal joined the Guelph Lake Vet team in September 2023 and is excited to provide excellent patient care to animals in her community.
